It’s been a long time in the planning but we have finally moved to our new premises in Langley Moor Durham. Its only 1.5 miles away from our old place at Nevilles Cross but means we have much more [...]

From April 28th to May 1st we were at Fully Charged Live UK in Farnborough. We met loads and loads of you, it was great, thanks for coming to say hello.

For those you that didn’t make it we have made a video so you can see what it was all about.

We are going to be at Fully Charged Live on the 29th of April till the 1st of May in the converted classics zone, come and say Hi!

Watch our video for details of which cars we will be taking and what we will be doing whilst we are there.

The video also features a walk around from last years show so you can get an idea of what is there.

We have been working hard on the EV component install over the past few weeks and today can update you on progress.

Take a look at the video that explains where we have gotten.

Another test drive an opinion on the Nissan Newbird (Bluebird EV Conversion)

What do you guys think of it? – Embarrassingly we have never asked, comment or contact us to let us know?

Nissan Bluebird EV review: Anyone order an electric taxi?

We were delighted today to come across a 4 page feature in Autocar Magazine featuring Nissan Bluebird that we converted to electric – now rechristened Newbird.

If your interested why not pop out and get a copy, its got loads of other great content too – including features about Tesla model Y and Toyotas new EV

Over the last few weeks we have been getting a start on our next conversion – a 1968 Morris Minor Traveller.

The car is getting an 80kw Motor from a leaf along with 16 battery modules from a 30kWh leaf giving it approx 20kWh’s of battery storage.

Here is our first update video on the project

The next conversion in the workshop just arrived.

Can you guess what it is?

All will be revealed next week when we give you Images, video and the full story on the plans for the next in the line. Its a beauty of a car and we are all excited to have it with us 🙂

We love this work – “Are you converted yet?”

The Newbird returned today as the guys from Autocar magazine came to visit and drive it to the Nissan plant in Sunderland. Great to meet the guys and talk conversions. We will post when the article comes out.

We also discovered that another YouTube channel, Hubnut, has had the car and done a video on it. Check it out.

I couldn’t help myself posting about this – one of my favourite parts of the conversions we do – well the rear wheel drive ones is the custom aluminium adapters we have made to join the motor and gearbox.

The really sad part is that you don’t get to see them once the car is fully assembled (less you scoot underneath!)

The next update video will give more detail so subscribe to our YouTube channel here but for now here are a few more images
