Introduction to the Morris Minor Saloon

In this post, we’re introducing a wonderful two-door Morris Minor Saloon that has captured our hearts. Sourced and secured for a discerning customer, this classic vehicle holds immense potential. Although we have exciting conversion plans, this car will remain in its original petrol configuration for the summer, adding a touch of nostalgia until its electric future arrives.

In this Kinghorn Electric Vehicles update, we delve into the wiring and rebuilding stages of our Jaguar EV conversion project. We focus on integrating a complex wiring system that piggybacks on the car’s original loom, allowing for reversible modifications. We also custom-design and 3D print adapters for dual-charge ports. The control systems and modern throttle pedal are installed using existing car features, while new dash switch panels are crafted to match updated functions. Weight adjustments lead us to tweak the suspension for optimal balance. The interior sees updated panels and the addition of a Bluetooth amplifier and speakers.
