The latest video on our YouTube channel opens the discussion on whether an electric vehicle is than an internal combustion engine vehicle for commuting.

George realised that being stuck in traffic on the way to work whist driving a 2012 Renault Kangoo EV van that it was the perfect time to open this discussion.

We are happy to announce that we will be featured on episode 1 of the next series of Bangers and Cash : Restoring classics.

The episode airs in the UK on the Yesterday Channel (where to find this below) on Thursday April 10th at 8pm.

The episode features the Austin Van that we converted to electric for the show. The build happened in late 2023 and it was challenging. Watch the episode to find out why!

We will be releasing more detail of the build once the episode goes to air so subscribe to our conversion newsletter to be notified when we this is published.

So what’s been through our Electric Vehicle workshop lately?

We start with a contradiction – a petrol Morris Minor. We don’t usually work on none electric cars but after converting 4 minors to electric we have built up a vast knowledge of them. We got asked to firt a reconditioned gearbox to this traveller and to check it over. We fond a few areas that needed immediate attention and sorted them. You never know one day it may be electric!

In this video I tell you about how the company started then tell you about what happened in the workshop in August 2024.

To keep up to date make sure you subscribe to our YouTube channel 🙂

From April 28th to May 1st we were at Fully Charged Live UK in Farnborough. We met loads and loads of you, it was great, thanks for coming to say hello.

For those you that didn’t make it we have made a video so you can see what it was all about.

We have just received 2 Nissan eNV200 electric vans and they are both fantastic.

They both have a host of extras fitted above the already great standard specification including a diesel Sebastopol heater which increase range dramatically in cold weather.

Both are great vans for businesses that can operate with their approx 80mile range but would also make a great base for a camper van conversion.

Yesterday I had a conversation with a customer who bought a leaf from us and it made me realise how much of a Nissan Leaf specialist we really are. They told me they both the car from us because –

  1. We sourced the right leaf for them and didn’t just try to sell them a car we had in stock that might not be right for them
  2. We were passionate and deeply knowledgeable about not only the car but the whole ownership process.
  3. They had been told by other customers that we don’t just sell the car then forget about the customer. As its usually a new experience for our customers we make sure we are there 24/7. Each customer gets George’s direct mobile number to call anytime they may need help or advice.
  4. We not only sell Leafs but as we buy crashed ones to use their motors and batteries in our conversions we have a [...]
